Speakeasy Bengal Kittens have a wild, exotic Look coupled with a dependable, friendly and loving disposition. We raise SBT (F4 and subsequent generations) from several Asian Leopard Cat lines. Some of these Leopard Cat ancestors are Taro of Bundas, Centerwall of Millwood, Bahgara-Sergura Khan, Kabuki, Leapole, Phantom Art Deco and Sir Apollo of Spotoluck.
We are particularly proud of our kittens, whose temperaments are sweet natured and crave human attention and companionship.
This outgoing personality is possible because of selective breeding as well as our early socialization and handling techniques. All kittens are systematically introduced to us, first with the sense of smell and then touch. They are then handled, caressed, and played with on an ongoing basis. This requires very tolerant and people-oriented mothers.
We raise both brown and snow colored spotted and marbled patterned kittens.
Our kittens have exceptional purrsonalities, sharp contrast of spots to ground color, varied rosettes, long sleek muscular bodies, rounded ears, and often silk-like pelted coats that shimmer in the light with glitter.

Kittens are priced according to how closely the individual kitten meets the Bengal Breed Standard. This takes into account body type, pattern, clarity of coat, contrast, head type, ear set, eyes, tail and of course Purrsonality.

There are many expenses involved in raising quality Bengal kittens - the best foods (grain free), litter, time in handling many times a day, vet health checks, stool examinations, vaccinations, and medical screening tests. The parents are tested for PRA, PK-Deficiency, Leukemia, FIV (AIDs), and yearly testing for HCM. This is all done to ensure, as much as possible, healthy happy kittens. I have spent as much as $400 for a single HCM test. More often than not, you get what you pay for!
You will sometimes find Bengal kittens priced below us, most often, the breeder has not performed the extensive health checks we have incorporated into our breeding program or these kittens will not have the extreme contrast of spot to background color or the wowie markings like the beautiful Bengals you have seen in Cat Fancy Magazine.

Speakeasy kittens are guaranteed to be purebred Bengal kittens with an accurate pedigree. The litter will be registered with The International Cat Association (TICA) - as responsible breeders of 21 years, we adhere to the TICA Code of Ethics.
Speakeasy feels a strong responsibility to our feline friends and our clients! We will be available to you for consultation regarding the care of your Bengal Cat and sharing of information throughout your cats' life.
Your new kitten will go home with samples of their current food, a bed that smells familiar to them, and a personalized book of information about your kitten - including copies of health scans for their parents and some articles to help make the transition to your home as smooth as possible. You will also receive a "Blue Slip" - the registration paperwork needed to register your kitten with TICA.
A kitten being sold as a "pet" does not mean it is "pet quality". All kittens are raised in our home underfoot as much as is safe for various age groups. Our kittens are handled and played with often, creating very social and well-adjusted pets.
Before being placed into approved homes, all "pet" kittens will have:
- A health certificate
- Microchip implanted
- 2 Distemper vaccinations (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
- 2 stool samples examined by Antech/Idexx Laboratories for any parasites
- Been spayed or neutered
For pets a $200 non-refundable deposit is required to be on our waiting list. Once you choose YOUR kitten an additional $300 will be required to hold your kitten until you pick up your new family member at approximately 12-13 weeks of age.
A kitten placed into a breeding program must be a kitten I would keep myself. It must be a FINE example of our breed both in looks and in health history.
Kittens placed into breeding programs must not be caged unless inappropriate litter box issues arise during heat cycles. I am particular and I reserve the right to approve of potential breeder homes for my cat's offspring.
Before being placed into approved homes, all "breeder" kittens will have:
- A health certificate
- Microchip implanted
- 2 Distemper vaccinations (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
- 2 stool samples examined by Antech/Idexx Laboratories for any parasites
- FelV/FIV testing completed
No kitten or cat may be resold or leased. All breeders must be altered when no longer in your breeding program and placed into a loving and forever pet home. Breeder kittens will only be placed into programs that are testing for HCM on a yearly basis. Male breeders must have a space no smaller than 12x10 in which to live with climbing space and toys for amusement.
For Breeder kittens a $500 non-refundable deposit is required once you commit to purchase a kitten.
